I graduated in October 2005 from the Universita di Roma "La Sapienza" (Italy) with a thesis entitled "Experimental Identification of Elastic and Aeroelastic Structures Using Output Only Methods". In March 2006 I became a Marie Curie Researcher for the Morphing Aircraft project led by Prof M Friswell at the University of Bristol working on the flight mechanics of morphing aircraft. In June of the same year I started a PhD on the same topic with Prof M Friswell and Dr M Lowenberg. My research interests are primarily in aeroelasticity and control.
