I am a member of both the Shallcross and Lloyd-Jones Research Groups in the School of Chemistry. My Ph.D work focussed on the mechanistic investigation of the effect of ion-pairing in Palladium-catalysed allylic alkylation. My Postdoctoral work currently involves the synthesis of organic nitrate esters derived form isoprene and gem-dihalide compounds of interest in atmospheric chemistry.
