Biography
I have taught Science in West London, Berkshire and Bristol. I have been Head of Chemistry but my career is characterised more by responsibilities and commitment to the development of Integrated Science provision. I was Head of Science in a local school from the introduction of the National Curriculum until recently and as such I have been responsible for implementing associated change and for performance. I have been Associate Tutor and Professional Tutor for the school-based component of the Bristol University PGCE course. As “Gifted and Talented Co-ordinator” I have worked collaboratively with others similarly appointed to improve provision for able pupils under the “Excellence in Cities” initiative in Bristol schools.
