Units

 

• Unit 101 - Teaching in the Health Professions (Core Unit, 2 study days, 15 credits, MEDIM2101)
• Unit 102 - Assessment and Evaluation (Core Unit, 2 study days, 15 credits, MEDIM2102)
• Unit 103 - Learning in the Health Professions (Core Unit, 2 study days, 15 credits, MEDIM2103)
• Unit 104 - Course Design (Core Unit, 2 study days, 15 credits, MEDIM2104)

 

For the PG Certificate, all units are core and therefore compulsory.  To view when Units are held please see the Timetable of Units for the PG Certificate. 

Summative assessment. involves one 2,500 word essay plus a 500 word reflective blog entry for each Unit.  Essays are submitted 12 weeks after day 1 of the Unit and blogs are written as you progress through the course.  Assessments are all work-based assignments so that you can do something that fits in with what you might already be doing and produce something that is relevant to your professional practice.
