Units
The PG Diploma consists of:
- The PG Cert in Teaching and Learning for Health Professionals (60 credits, or equivalent prior credits from a recognised HE Institution)
- PLUS One day Induction Session (for new students if not already attended),
PLUS four 15 credit modules (see Timetable of units for the Diploma) chosen from:
- Unit 211 - Research Methods (15 credits [MEDIM0211])
- Unit 212 - Information & Communication Technologies in Education (15 credits [MEDIM0212])
- Unit 213 - Teaching Ethics in the Health Professions (15 credits [MEDIM0213])
- Unit 214 - Mentoring and Supervision (15 credits [MEDIM0214])
- Unit 216 - Effective Communication Skills Development (15 credits, MEDIM0216)
- Unit 225 - Supervised Individual Study (10 credit [MEDIM0224] or 15 credit [MEDIM0225] - normally 15 credit)
