Short Film Scores

MA composers commissioned to score fourteen short films

All eight composers studying on the MA in Composition for Film and Television have been commissioned to write new scores to short films created by students from London's Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. In total, the students will compose to fourteen new films and work with professional directors and producers. The new scores (with both music and sound design) will be completed by mid-February.

The collaboration between University of Bristol composers and Mountview producers began in 2008-09. One of last year's composers, Thurston Shacklady, has been asked to score two films again this year.
