Dr David Trippett has won a Deems Taylor award for his article 'Bayreuth in Miniature' in the journal Musical Quarterly, 2012. These awards, conferred annually by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, recognise outstanding print, broadcast and new media coverage of music.
