Bristol University's Public Programmes Office is offering learners a wealth of possibilities in part-time or short courses running this year.
Over 400 accredited and non-accredited courses are available, including the opportunity to study part-time to undergraduate certificate, diploma and degree level. The University is also offering a large number of part-time postgraduate awards.
New courses running include Bristol at work: living and working in Bristol 1800-2000, Hometown lad made good - E W Godwin: Bristol architect and furniture designer, Conquest of the skies: milestones on aviation history, Sign2Baby, various visits to the Gordano Valley as part of the Biological Sciences programme, A passion for penguins (an afternoon day school also open to children), How to help your children learn.
Stewart Mossman, the Acting Assistant Director (Public Programmes), said: 'There is a continuing demand from the public for courses of this kind. Whatever your background and whether or not you have studied as an adult before, we hope you will join our thriving community of learners.'
