Goldney hosts Amnesty garden party
28 July 2010
Goldney Hall is hosting Bristol Amnesty International’s annual summer garden party on Sunday 8 August.
Activities will include guided tours of Goldney’s shell-lined grotto, a Grade I listed building that is only open to visitors a few times a year. The grotto is decorated inside with shells, quartz and rock crystal and has a pillared hall with fountains, a rock pool and a statue of Neptune. Short talks on the history of Goldney will run throughout the afternoon, and there will also be games, music, stalls and refreshments on offer.
The event runs from 1 pm to 5.30 pm at Goldney Hall, Constitution Hill, Clifton. Entrance costs £5 for adults, but children go free.
