David Main, Professor of Animal Welfare in the School of Veterinary Sciences, will feature on BBC One's Countryfile this Sunday [14 July] discussing animal welfare and food standards and how are they both measured and policed.

Tom Heap, a presenter on the programme, will report on how a new approach to animal inspections is helping improve welfare on farms.
