Part description |
Richard bought the atomiser from a hardware store in London. At the time he was using it a lot in his performances. Richard explains that it was used as a device to 'refresh' during a performance. He goes on to suggest that audiences like water to be present in performance, but also have a fear of getting wet. Richard likes the way theatrical lighting illuminates the fine mist and spray which the atomiser produces. It is also used functionally to wet Richard's hair as he moves toward the Bailey Savage character. Richard intentionally drops the atomiser to create a 'ripple' in the audience. |
