Guide was directed by Richard Layzell and starred collaborator Joan Taylor along with Richard himself. It was made in 1981 and Richard feels one of its strongest features was its high quality production, rarely available to artists at the time. He feels the immaculate editing helps the work 'revel in the quality of the cuts'. The work features patterns of subtly repeating gestures. |
