Two blue Pilates balls (or 'gym balls') were used in I Never Done Enough Weird Stuff. Both were sourced via the internet. Richard saw them as unusual and curious items for a UK audience and he liked the colour. They were recommended as a therapeutic tool by physiotherapist Jens Johansson. Both were bought in 1995 and several were used in the work Tap, Ruffle and Shave. During the performance one ball is fully inflated, while one is left semi-inflated. |
