Black Market International is a collective of artists, formed in 1985, whose members include Jürgen Fritz, Norbert Klassen, Myriam Laplante, Alastair MacLennan, Helge Meyer, Boris Nieslony, Elvira Santamaría, Lee Wen and Roi Vaara. The collective operates according to ten "golden rules" intended to structure their encounter with the public, to each of which are appended the injunction, "Don't be boring".

In their residency at the National Review of Live Art in 2007, Black Market International occupied the large Tramway 2 space for the duration of the festival and initiated a series of performances, workshops and talks. This clip shows only a brief example of the kinds of interactions that were documented.
