Notes for Home/EU undergraduates:If you have applied for a full tuition fee loan from the Student Loan Company, there is no need to complete the online payments process for tuition fees. The University will receive payment direct from the Student Loan Company. If no tuition fee loan has been applied for or a partial loan has been applied for, please read the information below which explains how to pay.
If you have paid a deposit towards your programme of study, please reduce the total tuition fee to be paid by the amount already paid as a deposit.
Payment for tuition fees for the 2011/12 academic session can be made in any one of the three following ways:
Tuition fees can be paid immediately, in full, by credit/debit card. The payment will be processed straight away and the full fees will be collected immediately.
Tuition fees can be scheduled for payment on agreed dates (see payment dates below) using a credit/debit card. All major credit cards are accepted except American Express and Diners Club. You can set up a recurring card payment up to and including 19 October 2011. After this date, you can still set up instalments by contacting the Income Office directly. Please note: setting up a recurring card payment will ensure all payments due for the current academic year will be made automatically. You need do nothing further (for this year) unless we contact you to say otherwise.
A Direct Debit can be set up to pay tuition fees in instalments (see payment dates below). A Direct Debit authorises the University to take each instalment from your bank account on the predetermined due dates. We accept payment from UK bank accounts that allow Direct Debit collection. If you are uncertain whether this applies to your account, please contact your bank. You can set up a Direct Debit up to and including 6 October 2011. After this date, another method of payment must be used.
You will need the following information to pay by any of the methods described above:
Tuition fees can be scheduled for future payment in one or two instalments. Payment dates are as follows:
If you choose to pay in two instalments the total cost will be split into two equal parts.
Tuition fee amounts can be found on the tuition fee web pages.
