Before you book

Before you book, please plan your day by choosing the welcome and subject sessions you would like to attend, making a note of session titles and times: you will need these to complete the booking form.

Making a booking

We're very much looking forward to meeting you on our open day. You must book a place before you come.

If you can't book the subject sessions you would like, you can still make a booking to visit subject displays, the exhibition, talk to staff about the courses you are interested in, and visit student halls. On the booking form this is called a 'Booking excluding subject sessions'.

Please note: once the open day is fully booked, there is no waiting list. If places become available through cancellations, they will appear on the booking form.

When to book

Booking can only be made using our online booking system. Booking opens on Wednesday 8 May for the open days in June and Wednesday 17 July for the open day in September.

Once you've booked

Once you have booked you will receive a confirmation email* with details of your booking. Your booking letter, which you must bring with you on the day, and programme will be attached to your email. Please keep this email in case you need to refer to it.

Please note: you will not receive registration information by post. Your confirmation email will include a link to a document checklist, letting you know what to bring on the day.

Your booking and how to cancel

Please login to access your booking where you can:

  • reprint your booking letter;
  • request your confirmation email to be resent;
  • check what you need to bring with you;
  • cancel your booking if you can no longer make it.

*If you don't receive your booking confirmation, please check your email’s spam/junk folder. If you are still unable to find the email, your booking may not have worked: please email open-days@bristol.ac.uk with your name, email address, postcode and a contact telephone number as soon as possible so we can help. Alternatively, you can call us on +44 (0)117 928 8623.

If you do not receive the booking confirmation email, we cannot guarantee your place on the open day.

School and college bookings

If you would like to bring a school or college group to any of the open days, please refer to our information for schools and colleges.

Support for D/deaf and disabled students

If you need support in order to attend any of the activities on the open day, please let us know using the section at the bottom of the booking form.

We will be able to provide you with a disabled parking space and details of accessible accommodation that will be open for you to visit.
