Mind over platter: A psychologist’s perspective on fullness and overeating.

Obesity is a major health concern. However, attempts to address this problem are often hampered by a lack of basic understanding. What governs meal size? Why do we feel full? As we shall see, intuitive answers rarely coincide with psychobiological observations in humans and non-human animals.
