Seiriol Morgan
Seiriol Morgan joined the department from the University of Leeds in 2006. He works primarily in moral philosophy, and has published on topics in metaethics, moral theory and applied ethics, in particular on sexual morality. He also has extensive interests in the history of philosophy, especially the work of Augustine, Kant, Schopenhauer and Nietzsche. During the academic year 2006-2007 Seiriol was awarded AHRC funded Research Leave, to work on a project entitled 'Kant's Moral Psychology of the Will'. He is currently working on two books, one on philosophy and sex, which will appear in 2009, and one on Kant on wrong-doing and evil.
Seiriol likes philosophy, and public houses, and nothing else.
