Support services
If you need help and advice on either academic or personal matters while you're here, you should feel welcome to contact any member of the department. We all have advertised office hours, but if a matter if urgent you should feel free to contact us outside those hours. In addition, the following staff have particular responsibility for postgraduate students (see the Staff page for contact details, office hours etc.).
MA students:
- your personal advisor,
- the Co-ordinator for our MA programmes.
- the Programme Director for your specific MA Programme:
MLitt/PhD students: your thesis advisor.
In addition, you should feel welcome to approach members of the Graduate Studies Committee of the department:
Postgraduates also have a representative who sits on the Staff/Student Committee and on the Postgraduate Studies Committee.
