Publication gives recommendations to inform Patient and Public Involvement in trial oversight
Rhiannon Macefield and Karen Coulman of the Centre of Surgical Research are part of a team celebrating a new publication, 'Understanding and optimising patient and public involvement in trial oversight: an ethnographic study of eight clinical trials', in the BMC journal Trials.
It used an ethnographic study design to add to the evidence on the importance of meaningful involvement of public contributors within clinical trials.
