The publications team has responsibility for some of the University's corporate print publications and the online news and information service, which was launched in autumn 2006, replacing University News. It has a wide brief covering news from across the University, eg grant awards, prizes, appointments, obituaries, conference reports, the activities and achievements of students and support staff, and staff notices. The Publications Officers, Hilary Brown and Nick Riddle, work closely with colleagues in the press and web teams.

Nick also helps maintain the Public Relations Office image archive, and contributes to the maintenance and development of certain content on the corporate web.
