Jill leads, manages and develops the University's Public Relations Office under the overall direction of the Director of Communications, David Alder.

Jill is responsible for ensuring that the press, publications, graphic design and corporate web and new media teams help the University to achieve its aims and objectives through efficient and effective communications and the professional management of reputation and brand.

Jill also deputises for the Director of Communications as required.

The Public Relations Assistant is the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries to the Public Relations Office. They provide administrative support, manage the day to day finances, assist the Head of Public Relations and ensure the smooth running of the office.

Galit is also Personal Assistant to the Communications and Marketing Director on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Urfan manages the Web Editor team and has responsibility for overseeing the development of the University's web and social media presence, ensuring it helps support the delivery of the University's strategic goals.

• Formulates, creates, leads and implements the digital strategy and plan for the current and future development of the University’s online presence.
• Manages the programme of activities contributing to the development of the University's online presence
• Oversees the development of new content, with a focus on quality and user experience.
• Along with the team, provides schools and departments with a web publishing framework and support and advice on digital communications and marketing.

Paul works in the web editor team developing web-related standards and protocols that are used across the University, as well as supporting the above faculties in the following areas:

• Oversees and develops faculties’ online presence (including schools, research groups, non-core funded websites and social media channels);
• Supports communications and marketing activities across the University’s key areas of activity including, teaching, research, corporate brand, recruitment and alumni relations;
• Oversees content publishing, implements design and assesses development across faculties in accordance with University policy, strategy, standards, templates and protocols;
• Works closely with faculty web publishers to ensure that web content is kept up to date and delivers a useful and engaging experience in keeping with the University’s brand;
• In collaboration with the other Web and New Media Officers, contributes to University-wide web and new media activities;
• Balances and prioritises web and new media activities, balancing local faculty/support services departmental needs with University-wide requirements.
