The Public Relations Office is made up of three teams:
These teams support the building of the University's brand and reputation and ensure that the University presents itself clearly and consistently.
If you require assistance on how best to mount a campaign, advice on reaching opinion-formers, or a second opinion on a piece of text, the teams will do their best to help.
The Campaigns team is responsible for promoting the University of Bristol by raising its external profile and reputation on a national and global scale. The team provides advice on applying the University's corporate identity, assists with the production of print and online materials and promotional events, and has responsibility for some of the University's online news service.
For advice on recruitment marketing, including prospectus entries and open day activities, contact the student recruitment, access and admissions team.
The Media team acts as the first point of contact for local, national and international media enquiries about the University. Social media is managed and overseen by this team. The team runs a twice-yearly media training course free of charge for academics interested in engaging with the media and can also provide advice on publicising work.
Web content publishing and digital marketing is managed and overseen by the Digital Communications team. The team manages the roll-out of websites across the University, and develops the web in terms of its content, digital marketing and user experience with a view to supporting the University's strategic goals.
