Working in partnership with different organisations on public engagement activities, such as the 2009 Festival of Nature, can lead to projects with far-reaching impacts across the region.
About the project
Working with the public is a vital part of university life and an area in which our staff and students are actively involved. They work with schools and local communities, involve the public in research, volunteer in the community, and talk about their research on television and radio, to cite just some examples. During the course of our centenary year in 2009, we will be presenting dozens of case studies to give you a flavour of the wide range of activities our staff and students are involved in and hopefully inspire you to get involved as well.
