Staff Coaching Service
Career coaching
Most of us spend more time planning our annual holiday than our career, yet we spend a huge proportion of our lives in work. Giving yourself time to review your job, audit your skills and plan your future might improve your job satisfaction, salary and motivation. You might choose to update your CV, fill in your skill gaps by attending some training, or talk to colleagues about future possibilities.
The University of Bristol believes in self-managed careers, which means that the responsibility is on each of us to decide where we want to be and how we’re going to get there. No one else is going to do this for us.
These pages are a resource to help you with this thinking and planning.
To find out what it's like to work with a coach see the short introductory video below.

As well as our face to face service, please see the pages on this site about careers guidance, which will help you consider and plan your career.
