Bristol wins Outstanding Human Resource Initiative Award

The University of Bristol has won the Outstanding Human Resource Initiative Award at the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards 2009 ceremony, held on 9 June at the London Hilton, Park Lane.

The Outstanding Human Resource Initiative Award "aims to reward the single initiative or innovation that has had the most positive impact in higher education HR". Five other universities were shortlisted for the award, but Bristol won due to its outstanding work in the PWE field. New contract won at Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh)

Positive People have successfully won the contract to deliver a whole staff survey at Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh) in the Summer of 2009.

Successful bids gained at the London School of Economics and the University of Nottingham

Positive People have been successful in their bids to run the London School of Economics and University of Nottingham staff surveys. Both these surveys will take place in autumn of this year (2009).

Bristol Leadership shortlisted for THES award

the University of Bristol has been shortlisted in the Times Higher Education Supplement 2009 Leadership and Management Awards, for our work over the last 8 years on the Positive Working Environment (PWE) agenda

We are one of a small number of organisations picked out as developing an 'Outstanding Human Resources Initiative'.

The winner will be announced on the evening of Tuesday 9th June 2009.

To be shortlisted is itself recognition of all the hard work and dedication so many people have put into PWE (directly and indirectly), for the benefit of all staff since 2003.
