What makes a good research bid? In addition to the perspective of the academic, participants will be invited to consider this through that of the funder and peer reviewer. Important elements of bid preparation and most common reasons for failure will be explored with advice and tips being provided throughout the day on best practice. The workshop will be interactive in nature and participants will be encouraged to share experiences and partake in group exercises.
This workshop is aimed at those who already have some experience of applying for or have been involved in an application for funding.
Please register if you would like to attend this Workshop.
Please note, we offer 3 different levels of workshop. These are delivered in Faculty groupings; Arts & Social Sciences, Science & Engineering and Medical Faculties. Please see the Staff Development website for further information.
