What are Innovation Vouchers?

Universities South West Innovation Vouchers provide funding for your business to work with an expert from a University, College or Public Sector Research Establishment, gaining new knowledge to help your business innovate, develop and grow.

Eligibility

They are available to start-ups, small and medium sized businesses, located in South West England. They can support most types of innovation, for example ideas for new or improved products, processes and services, or using design to improve your business.

Key points

Project supported will have values of £3,000 - £10,000
40% of the value of each project will be provided
Applications can be made at any time, between October 2012 and early 2015
For real innovations, rather than incremental changes
For expert help, rather than equipment or training
The knowledge provider must be one that you haven’t worked with before
