STFC Impact Acceleration Account

The Science and Technologies Facilities Council (STFC) have developed an Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) to support academics to take ideas towards commercialisation through activities not currently supported by other STFC funding. Objectives include strengthening user engagement, supporting knowledge exchange and commercialisation at an early stage, and supporting activities that enable impact to be achieved in an effective and timely manner.

The University of Bristol has been awarded a £50,000 STFC IAA which will be allocated through a one-off competitive funding call. Eligible activities should meet the objectives outlined above and could include proof of concept studies, showcase workshops with industry, and secondments.
