Good research practice and training

Our research community is supported by education, training and hands-on support from the Research Governance Team during the set up and conduct of studies to help ensure a high level of compliance with legislation, guidance and ethical standards.

The quality assurance process for the University is annually reviewed by the University Research Committee and the University Ethics of Research Committee. These committees receive feed-back from internal audits, monitoring processes as well as inspections from statutory bodies which inform the success of the quality assurance program. This process can identify areas that need further development.
