Pure and the REF

What is REF?

The Research Excellence Framework (REF) is the method by which the quality of research in the UK is assessed. It replaces the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) and submissions will be made at the end of 2013.

The Pure REF system

All staff who were included in the 2011 Mock REF will have a ‘Propose outputs for the REF’ tab.

On this, you will see the outputs that had previously been selected for the 2011 Mock REF.
