Calls for proposals and deadlines
Details of all the calls are available on the Participant Portal website. An overview of upcoming FP7 deadlines is available on the UKRO website.
Participant Identity Code (PIC)
The European Commission is now using a Participant Identity Code (PIC) system. Each institution participating in FP7 has been issued with a unique 'PIC' which it will be required to use each time a new proposal is submitted. The purpose of the PIC is to remove the need to manually enter generic University information into administrative forms since it will now appear automatically.
The PIC for the University of Bristol is 999974262.
VAT
Please note that VAT is not an eligible cost in FP7 and unlike in previous Framework Programmes, cannot be recovered from HMRC. A memo explaining how the University manages this issue is available here.
