If you haven’t managed to get the grades you needed to meet your offer, don’t panic. There are several things you can do.

If the University of Bristol is your firm choice and you’ve only narrowly missed your offer

Please check UCAS Track to see if we’ve been able to offer you a place. If 'no decision' is showing on UCAS Track, please contact us.

If we can’t offer you a place but you’ve met or exceeded the conditions of your insurance offer, you’ll automatically be accepted by that institution via UCAS. Please check UCAS Track for more information.

If you are appealing against your results

Some applicants decide to apply for a re-grade of one or more of their papers. Please note that grades can go down as well as up.  If you have applied for a re-grade, please let us know by emailing ug-admissions@bristol.ac.uk or sending a fax to +44 (0)117 3317391. Please also let us know the outcome as soon as possible.  If we don't receive all your final results by 31 August, we may not be able to confirm your place with us.
