A lively Romantics research community
The Centre for Romantic Studies (CRS) resides in the Department of English and is founded on the international reputation of the department's scholars and critics in this area. It both benefits from and contributes to the lively Romantics research community in the Bristol English department, providing a forum where staff, research postgraduates and students following the 'Romanticism' pathway on Bristol's MA in English Literature can learn from one another. A series of annual colloquia on the theme of Romantic Afterlives complements a seminar series with invited visiting speakers and the regular meetings of a lively postgraduate reading group.
