The Advisory Committee on Dangerous Pathogens (ACDP) has updated its list of classifications for biological agents to be used when undertaking risk assessments as required by COSHH (see this website's biosafety section for more information). ACDP assigns a hazard grouping to those biological agents that are listed according to each agent's level of risk of infection to humans. There have been several changes and improvements to the list since its last revision in 2004, including the addition of information on zoonoses and classification under animal health legislation.
