Research summary

I am a composer of contemporary classical music undertaking research towards gaining a PhD in Music Composition. Other than writing music I engage in activities to increase accessibility, awareness and enjoyment of contemporary classical music through ARPA Productions and the annual CMV Concert Series. I have written pieces for Schola Cantorum Bristol, Gemini Ensemble, Jonathan Godsall and for the Tête a Tête Opera Festival where my first opera The Interrogation of Adam Pollo was performed in August 2012. Awards include the Raymond Warren prize for composition (2011) and the University of Bristol Centenary Prize for Composition (2010).
