I work principally in the philosophy of language and philosophical methodology, although my work intersects with topics in the philosophy of logic, epistemology and the philosophy of science. I have two ongoing research projects. In the first, I am developing an account of how terminology and concepts are designed and constructed as a part of theoretical inquiry. In the second, I am looking at connections between the semantic paradoxes and meaning in natural language.
I completed my PhD at the University of Bristol in 2014 and subsequently held a research fellowship at the University of Reading. I have held positions lecturing at Oxford Brookes University, the University of Hertfordshire and the University of Birmingham.
