Immerse yourself in foreign languages and culture in the school’s state-of-the-art Multimedia Centre, which opened at the end of 2009.
The centre is equipped with a teaching room but the remainder of the facility is designed for students to use for private study. There are five rooms in total, each dedicated to different activities:
The Multimedia Centre is available all year round (except on University closure days) Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 5pm, extended until 8.45pm Mon-Thurs during term time.

Every computer and screen in the MMC can access foreign satellite TV and has a DVD player, headphones and microphone. Dictionaries and grammar books are also provided.
We have a collection of 1700 film titles on 2000 DVDs for use within the MMC. New titles are constantly being added.
Students can borrow semi-professional voice recorders and high-definition video cameras for oral practice, presentations and projects.
Support is provided for all equipment and resources by a Learning Technologist with a background in film, media and IT.
