Dr Albertine Fox


Albertine joined the Department of French at Bristol in 2017 having completed her PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her thesis explored questions of sound and spectatorship in the 1980s film and video work of Jean-Luc Godard. After completing her doctoral studies, she was awarded a Junior Research Fellowship in Modern & Medieval Languages at Churchill College, University of Cambridge. She also holds a BA in French with Music and an MA by Research on the 1970s cinema of the French writer and filmmaker Marguerite Duras.
