I graduated in Italian Filology from the University of Naples 'Federico II' (Italy) with an MA equivalent (2010). In 2008-09, during my YA, I completed and apprenticeship in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language at the University of Reading. It was here that I discovered my passion for education and this led me to obtain my teaching qualification the following year (DITALS II).

I have taught Italian language at various levels and for different kinds of institutions in Bristol and Bath, working with college students, undergraduates, business professionals and adult in continuing education. My work experience also includes translating and interpreting.

I have been a lanugage tutor at Bristol University since 2012.

I am currently a Language Teaching Fellow, delivering courses at undergraduate level (Y1, 2 and 4) as well as Applied Foreign Language Units.

My areas of research interests are:

- Blended Learning

- peer teaching

- development of students' transferable skills

I am a member of SIS (Society of Italian Studies).
