Dr Rebecca Kosick

At Bristol, I teach undergraduate and postgraduate units in translation theory and practice, as well as units in Latin American poetry, poetics, and art. I would be interested in supervising PhD projects that address 19th-21st century Hemispheric American poetry (Brazil, Spanish America, the US, and Canada), translation theory (particularly as it relates to continental philosophy, critical theory, and new materialism), experimental literary translation in the Americas, Latin American art and visual culture, word and image studies in Hemispheric American arts and literature, and US Latinx literature.

Please note I will be on research leave from September 2017 until January 2019.
