Dr Jeremy Horwood


My research interests including users' experience of health services, acceptability of clinical interventions, clinical decision-making, chronic illness, pain management, illness perceptions, gender and identity. My areas of expertise include conducting qualitative and mixed methods research. I have experience of conducting and evaluating randomised controlled trials and n-of-1 trials, the use of Q-methodology and systematic reviews of qualitative evidence. I have worked in the fields of primary health care and secondary care concerning a range of different conditions.
