Summary
Biography
I am a full-time postdoctoral primary health care researcher with a degree in clinical medicine. Prior to working here in the Centre of Academic Primary Care, I was a research assistant on the evaluation of a complex intervention for COPD at King's College London.
I am currently working on 1) a systematic review examining the prognosis and treatment outcomes of children with respiratory tract infection, and 2) analysis of the TARGET study dataset. My 2014 PhD thesis explored the diagnosis of respiratory tract infection in primary care. I am interested in clinical prediction rules, upper respiratory tract microbiology, respiratory infection pathogenesis, and the role of upper respratory tract point-of-care microbiological sampling in improving diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
