I completed my PhD at the University of Leicester in 2007, with the title

“On the use of data-augmentation to model biomedical data in the presence of selection bias”.

My first degree was in Mathematics, I then completed an MSc in Medical Statistics at Lancaster University following a year working in the pharmaceutical industry. My entire post-doctoral career has been spent at dedicated MRC research Units in Cambridge, London and, now, Bristol. 

 2015 - : Methodology Research Fellow and PLT scientist, MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit,  Bristol.

 2011 - 2015: Senior investigator statistician, MRC Biostatistics Unit, Cambridge.
