After coming to medical research from a mathematics background and completing my PhD in Biostatistics, I have built up a broad experience and understanding of statistical analysis with biomedical research data. My entire post-doctoral career has been spent at dedicated Medical Research Council (MRC) research units in Cambridge, London and now Bristol.

My research interests include clinical trials, evidence synthesis, statistical genetics and genetic epidemiology. In 2014 I was awarded a four year Methodology Research Fellowship by the MRC (title: `Bias adjusted inference in Biostatistics’).
