Research summary

I am a life course epidemiologist with interests in womens health and sex differences in disease with a particular focus on cardiometabolic risk. I hold an MRC Population Health Scientist Fellowship with core objectives of examining sex differences in cardiometabolic risk in early life in order to gain aetiological insight into the mechanisms of sex-specific cardiometabolic disease risk across the life course. My work to date has predominantly focused on modelling of repeated measures of cardiometabolic risk factors available in the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) and looking at various determinants of sex differences in these. Biography

I am a lifecourse epidemiologist with special interests in cardiometabolic and reproductive health. I hold an MRC Population Health Scientist Fellowship which investigates gender differneces in trajectories of cardiometabolic risk and their medicators in early life cohorts.
