More about this project

The ART Cohort Collaboration, which includes 19 cohort studies from Europe and North America, was established to estimate prognosis of HIV-1 positive, treatment naïve patients initiating highly active antiretroviral therapy (ART).
Our major aims are to examine:

  • prognosis for clinical events (deaths from all causes and specific causes, AIDS and specific AIDS-defining conditions) in the era of long term antiretroviral therapy,
  • and prognosis relating to treatment strategies, with an emphasis on causal modelling.
