Following the success of the WUN DAPPER workshop a new community has been set up to facilitate health data sharing - DASH-ING (DAta Sharing for Health - INnovation Group).
The 2-day Data Analysis with Privacy Protection for Epidemiological Research (DAPPER) workshop focuses on privacy protected federated approaches to data analysis within epidemiology.
The workshop will consider the range of approaches that curently exist, and those that are being developed. It explores the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges associated with these methods and identifies situations where specific approaches have a particularly important role.
This workshop includes a number of practical sessions where potential users could watch demonstrations of the various approaches in action and run analyses themselves.
The DAPPER workhop is a satellite meeting to the 2016 IPDLN Conference.
