Short course programme

Introduction

The School of Social and Community Medicine provides a programme of high quality intensive short courses covering a range of health services research and epidemiological methods, as well as generic research skills. They are aimed at academics, public health specialists, health-care professionals and industry. Courses range in duration from one to five days. These courses are designed and taught by members of the school with some invited speakers from the UK and abroad. The short course programme is highly regarded, with many attendees funded by their employer, and student feedback on these courses is excellent.
