Professor Yongjin Zhang in Seoul, South Korea for an International Conference

On 8-9 September, Professor Yongjin Zhang attended an international conference in Seoul, South Korea. The international conference, Glocal IR Knowledge Production and IR Scholarship in/of East Asia Today, was organized by Yonsei University and held at Kim Dee-Jung Presidential Library Convention Hall. Scholars from South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Australia as well as Britain were present at the conference. Professor Zhang’s presentation at the conference is entitled ‘Why Is There No Critical Chinese IR?’, which is a revised version of his keynote talk at a conference organized by Royal Holloway, University of London in June. The expanded version of this paper has been accepted and will appear in Third World Quarterly.
