The School of Sociology, Politics and International Studies (SPAIS) will be offering a postgraduate research scholarship for a new Home (UK or EU) student for September 2013 entry. The scholarship will offer funding for three years to cover tuition fees and a maintenance stipend equivalent to the RCUK minimum of £13,726 per annum. We invite applications from strong candidates in all areas of sociology, politics or international studies. Applicants will need to demonstrate academic excellence and outstanding research potential.
The position will be for full-time or part-time study. Applicants are expected to hold a 1st Class Honours Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree (UK or UK equivalent) in a relevant discipline. For those whose first language is not English, a minimum language proficiency score of IELTS 6.5 is required.
